Hit the brakes! My order status has changed from 4000 ready to Ship, to 4150 Original Invoice, to 4D00 Vehicle on hold – MP – anyone know what this means?

Might be too late to order a 2023. Orders started in July for a 2023. Get in line for a 2024 or 2025.
Process takes over a year to get one.

Thank you to everyone! My dealer just sent the order in for the 2023, it is at status number 3000, and is scheduled to be built the week of February 20. I ordered it in 2021. I am not sure what options it will have, but at least it should be built. Looks like I am getting an Escalade!

Thanks for your help! My dealer was blaming me for ordering things like Super Cruise, Towing Package, and Radiant Package. Towing Package was removed. Super Cruise came and went, then came again. Radiant Package I had to forfeit too, but I can buy what I want elsewhere. Sounds like I have a dealer problem. No other Cadillac dealers within 100 miles so they don’t care. They have no competition. At least they sell at MSRP. Phoenix dealers add $20,000 – $25,000 to the MSRP. Can’t go there. Thanks again.

I had the original 2022 order number and I have the 2023 order number. How do I follow it? The Cadillac website has been no help. They always say to contact my dealer. Thanks for your help.

My dealer still has not put my order in. I gave them a deposit in 2021 and no end in sight. Throughout the months, they had me drop most options off it, but they keep making excuses. Now we may be looking at a 2024. Avoid Royal Cadillac of Tucson. So disappointed in them, and in the Cadillac brand in general. No help from corporate or from customer experience departments. I have been driving Cadillacs exclusively, since 2000. This may be my last one.

You would be lucky to get one in a year or two. My 2021 order for a 2022 rolled over to a 2023 and I have been waiting for GM to even pick up the order after 10 months. Cadillac president Steve Carlisle sent a stern letter to the Cadillac dealerships that stated Cadillac forbids dealers to gouge their customers but there is no penalty for non compliance. Find a dealer that will sell at MSRP or just wait it out.

Anyone taken delivery? I wish! Super Cruise is a deal-breaker for me as well. I ordered my 2022 Escalade Platinum December 8, 2021 and the order never got accepted by GM. I had to re-order a 2023 model on July 23, 2022 and still no acceptance of the order by Cadillac. My dealer took my deposit over 9 months ago. Cadillac seems to be just kicking the order down the road.
My fear is as they keep piling on the constraints, (They killed the Super Cruise, Radiant package, Adaptive Headlamps, Towing Package so far), all we will be able to get is a base model. Another deal breaker for me. This purchase experience has been a huge disappointment for a long time Cadillac customer. Buying a brand new Cadillac used to be very exciting.
Good luck on getting yours. I am pulling for you.

NEVER GOT THE 2022. Order was put in December 8, 2022, got the GM order number, but the order was never accepted by GM. Now July 2022 I had to reorder the same Escalade as a 2023 model. I wonder if I will ever get the vehicle. Disappointed in GM for not being able to produce a similar vehicle as the ones the You Tube people have been testing for 7 months. The press seems to get vehicles that are not available to the public.

Hi Jeff. Actually, you helped me out greatly. I was told by my dealership, delivery in 6-7 months, but at least it sounds like they are producing vehicles. I hope GM accepts my order within 90 days. The order may come up with constraints, I loaded it up with options. Thank you for your input. Please post after yours is delivered.
