When the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V Magnus Launch Edition arrives (soon) at dealers, it will become the second electric vehicle to offer V-level performance. Interestingly, the Magnus Launch Edition’s matte finish was previously exclusive to Cadillac’s top-dog Blackwing models.
Initially, the Magnus Metal Frost exterior paint (color code GBL) was only offered on the CT4-V Blackwing Petit Petaud and CT5-V Blackwing Le Monstre limited edition models for the 2025 model year. In addition to the 2026 Optiq-V, the hue has been added to the pallets of the Lyriq-V and Escalade-V.

Completing the look of the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V Magnus Launch Edition model is a set of 21-inch 6-Spoke Reverse Rim alloy wheels with Satin Graphite finish and Laser-Etched V-Series, which is the standard wheel spec for the Optiq-V.
In addition to its performance capabilities, the Optiq-V can also travel up to 275 miles per full charge, according to Cadillac’s estimates, and will also features a native NACS charging port. Other highlights include the luxury marque’s signature 33-inch curved display, 19-speaker AKG Studio audio system, and Super Cruise hands-free driving capability as standard.
Only 26 units of the 685-horsepower sedan will be built.
U.S. production of the crossover ended in January of 2025.
