A never before seen Cadillac showed face at the 2025 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend. No, it wasn’t the luxury marque’s debut F1 race car. Instead, it was a nearly 5,000 pound behemoth – the LEGO Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special.

The pink, over-sixteen-foot-long showpiece was brought to life by seventeen master builders, engineers, and designers from the LEGO Group. Notably, the LEGO Cadillac isn’t random. Its existence is yet another byproduct of the newly announced partnership between LEGO Group and F1 ACADEMY, which aims to create more opportunities and visibility for women in motorsport, through creative play and representation.

The LEGO-F1 collaboration is also intended to inspire young fans, and Cadillac says this latest project highlights its own commitment to engaging a new generation of motorsport enthusiasts. Comprised of more than 418,000 individual bricks, this life-sized, fully-functional mechanical marvel took over 4,000 hours to build.

According to Julia Goldin, Chief Product & Marketing Officer at the LEGO Group, the LEGO Cadillac gave fans “a new dimension to the way they experience F1.” Folks attending the event were able to see it in action as it chauffeured the top-three finishers to the podium, with none other than Terry Crews behind the wheel.

Juxtaposing the blocky, post-WWII luxury icon were a pair of Cadillac Celestiq escorts. The three-layered marketing approach was a tour de force that showcased Cadillac’s rich heritage and innovative new products while building excitement for the future, including its entry into Formula 1 racing.

As a reminder, the Cadillac F1 team will make its debut for the 2026 season with Valtteri Bottas and Sergio “Checo” Pérez behind the wheel.

The Cadillac F1 team has also unveiled its official logo (shown above), secured Tommy Hilfiger as its first official brand partner, and signed an agreement with Keanu Reeves to produce a new docuseries that focuses on the team’s journey to the starting grid.
