The Cadillac Society Take

Cadillac sales saw strong growth during the third quarter of 2025, enabling the luxury marque to achieve its best quarterly and year-to-date result since 2013 in its home market. The performance was driven by a remarkable growth rate in Cadillac’s battery-electric models as well as the best-ever year-to-date performance of its V-Series models, which have completed five consecutive quarters of gains.

The growth was further driven by the best-selling (internal combustion) Cadillac Escalade, which saw sales rise nearly 30 percent to 11,332 units. This enabled it to continue as Cadillac’s best-selling model thanks to the 2025 model year refresh. Additionally, the Cadillac Lyriq, XT5, and CT4 each brought in incremental gains of two percent or less.

The all-new Cadillac Optiq and Cadillac Vistiq electric vehicles also performed well during the quarter – this time without hurting the performance of the Cadillac Lyriq, which achieved a 3.1 percent growth rate to remain Cadillac’s best-selling EV. Cadillac’s three new electric utility vehicles – the Optiq, Vistiq and Escalade IQ – cumulatively added over 11,000 units to the bottom line, practically matching the volume lost from the significantly less expensive lineup of combustion-powered crossovers. Finally, the Cadillac CT5 posted the smallest decline of 3.1 percent.
