2025 Cadillac XT5 Loses Blue, Bronze And Red Accent Packages

2025 Cadillac XT5 Loses Blue, Bronze And Red Accent Packages

The 2025 Cadillac XT5 has dropped the Red Accent Package, Blue Accent Package, and Bronze Accent Package, Cadillac Society has learned, meaning that the three packages no longer available to be ordered on the luxury crossover.

The Red Accent Package (production code PDK), Blue Accent Package (production code PDL) and Bronze Accent Package (production code PDJ) were all LPO-level (dealer-installed) exterior accent packages. They were priced at $2,995 each, and were exclusively offered on the 2025 Cadillac XT6 Sport trim, meaning they were not able to be outfitted on the Luxury or Premium Luxury trims.

Each package included the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

Bronze Accent Package

  • Bronze body decal (LPO SB9)
  • Bronze wheel center cap (LPO 5ZD)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (LPO SFZ)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (LPO S2K)
  • Black wheel lug nuts (LPO SPY)
  • Black wheel locks (LPO SPZ)
  • Tire Pressure Monitor (LPO SD5)

Blue Accent Package

  • Blue body decal (LPO SB9)
  • Blue wheel center cap (LPO 5ZF)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (LPO SFZ)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (LPO S2K)
  • Black wheel lug nuts (LPO SPY)
  • Black wheel locks (LPO SPZ)
  • Tire Pressure Monitor (LPO SD5)

Red Accent Package

  • Red body decal (LPO SB9)
  • Red wheel center cap (LPO 5ZD)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems (LPO SFZ)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (LPO S2K)
  • Black wheel lug nuts (LPO SPY)
  • Black wheel locks (LPO SPZ)
  • Tire Pressure Monitor (LPO SD5)

It’s likely that the aforementioned packages were dropped due to the 20-inch Gloss Black Wheels (production code S2K) being on constrain. At this time, it’s not clear when or even if the wheels will become available again.

It’s also worth noting that the Onyx Package and Onyx Lite Package have also been dropped from the 2025 XT5. Additionally, the American-market 2025 Cadillac XT5 also dropped the Platinum Package (production code JSE) from the options list, as previously reported by Cadillac Society. This package was previously optional on Premium Luxury and Sport trims.

The 2025 XT5 Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels continue to be powered by the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) as standard, which is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. These models are identifiable by the 350T badge on the liftgate. Meanwhile, the naturally-aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, is optional on the Premium Luxury trim and standard on the Sport trim. These models can be identified by the 400 badge on the liftgate.

It’s important to note that the 2025 XT5 is not the all-new second-generation model, which will be offered in China. As of this writing, there are no plans to offer this model in North America. As such, it’s highly likely that the 2025 model year will be the last for the nameplate in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
