The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ brings an all-electric drivetrain to the luxury marque’s most recognizable nameplate, packed to the brim with all sorts of premium features and technologies. Cadillac Society has now learned that the full-size luxury SUV will introduce a feature called Cadillac Arrival Mode, complete with diagonal driving capabilities.
Arrival Mode’s diagonal driving function is similar to the feature branded Crabwalk found on Escalade IQ’s platform mate, the GMC Hummer EV, which enables diagonal driving at low speeds. This is facilitated by standard four-wheel steering, a handy feature headed for the Escalade IQ, as previously reported by Cadillac Society. The inclusion of the feature will help drivers drive the Escalade IQ diagonally to avoid obstacles, parallel park, and make multipoint turns much simpler. Four-wheel-steering also helps reduce the electric luxury SUV’s turning radius, as its rear wheels are able to rotate in the opposite direction as the front ones.
Aside from Arrival Mode, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will offer the Second Row Executive Seating Package (production code ABV) for an additional $7,500. This package fits the Escalade IQ’s second row with captain’s chairs, ventilated seats, power massage functionality, and more. This package requires the Rear Seat Entertainment System (production code UW9) also be equipped, a $1,995 option.
As a reminder, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ rides on the BT1 platform and is capable of delivering a maximum 450 miles of driving range on a single charge, along with 680 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque in Normal Mode. Engaging Max Mode produces 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque from the electric driveline.
Pricing for the Escalade IQ start at $129,990 for the base Luxury 1 trim. Assembly of the luxury electric SUV will be handled at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant, now known as Factory Zero, with the start of regular production (SORP) scheduled to commence in October 2024.

Cadilac must produce new ads promoting this feature, so they can take away sales of other luxury vehicles, especially imports.
