There are five distinct front fascias for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade, and to the untrained eye, they might look all that different. Today, Cadillac Society details all available grilles for the 2024 Escalade, explaining how to identify each one and what trim level they belong to.
First, let’s recall Cadillac’s Y-trim level strategy for the Escalade, which offers the Luxury trim as base followed by Premium Luxury and Premium Luxury Platinum on one end of the Y. On the other end of the Y, we have Sport, Sport Platinum, and Escalade-V.
Now, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade Luxury and Premium Luxury front fascias get bright chrome accents. This includes bold chrome grille and headlight surrounds, along with chrome accents that trail down from the lower lighting elements and bracket the lower intake. The grille itself, which is common between the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, is emblazoned with chrome chevrons. An optional chrome mesh grille is available for the Escalade Premium Luxury only, but the rest of the fascia remains identical.
The 2024 Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum feature a more sinister front fascia than their Luxury-trimmed counterparts thanks to blacked-out trim elements and grille inserts. Here, the grille surrounds are black, as are the headlight surrounds and the lower trim piece that emphasizes the lower intakes, and the grille itself has a mesh pattern in black.
The 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V, which represents the range-topping model in the Sport brand of the Y-trim level strategy thanks to its supercharged V8 engine, features blacked-out trim just like its Sport brethren. However, this model is identifiable by a reworked front fascia, which features a deeper lower intake with a splitter and black mesh over the lower grille. The five-point surrounds for the vertical DRLs aren’t found anywhere else in the Escalade line. The Escalade-V model also gets V-Series badging on the driver’s side of the grille surround embossed into the black trim, exclusive to the 2024 model year Escalade-V as part of the V-Series 20th anniversary celebration.
Finally, the 2024 Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum features a unique grille with horizontally-oriented chrome bars.
Like the Premium Luxury trim, this grille can be replaced with the Bright Sport Mesh Grille (production code SJ9), an LPO-level (dealer-installed) option priced at $1,095. In fact, This grille was previously part of the Radiant Package, which has been periodically available since the 2022 model year, but the package was discontinued for the 2024 model year, meaning that those interested in acquiring the grille must purchase it as a standalone option.
The 2024 Cadillac Escalade is built on the luxury marque’s T1 platform. Assembly is handled at the Cadillac Arlington plant in Texas.
