2023 Cadillac Escalade Radiant Package Currently Unavailable

Ongoing supply chain issues have made it difficult for Cadillac to consistently offer certain packages across its vehicle portfolio. Cadillac Society has now learned that the latest vehicle affected by such constraints is the 2023 Cadillac Escalade, as the optional Radiant Package is currently unavailable to order on the full-size luxury SUV.

The Radiant Package (production code PDV) is an LPO-level (dealer-installed) package for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade. When it is available, it adds $4,495 to the overall cost of the vehicle, including the regular-length Escalade along with the extended-length Escalade ESV. Normally, the package is offered on Premium Luxury and Premium Luxury Platinum trims, and is not available on the Luxury, Sport or Escalade-V.

The Radiant Package includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • 22-inch 12-Spoke Chrome alloy wheels with locks, LPO (SET)
  • Bright Sport mesh grille with Galvano surround, LPO (SJ9)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
  • Cadillac crest puddle lamps, LMP (Premium Luxury only) (S3I)

At this time, it’s unclear why the Radiant Package isn’t available for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade. It’s also unclear if the package will return before production of the 2023 model year ends. Incidentally, this isn’t the first time that this particular package has not been available. A similar scenario occurred for the 2022 Cadillac Escalade, and ultimately, the Radiant Package was made unavailable for the rest of the 2022 model year before returning for the 2023 model year.

It’s also unclear if the Radiant Package will be offered for the 2024 Escalade, which is expected to deliver a midcycle refresh to the luxury marque’s most popular nameplate. Production of the 2024 Cadillac Escalade will commence in November 2023 at the Cadillac Arlington plant in Texas, thereby concluding assembly for the 2023 model year.
