Upcoming 2025 Cadillac Optiq Luxury On Public Roads: Photos

Just yesterday, the all-electric 2025 Cadillac Optiq had its complete North American debut. Slotting in beneath the Cadillac Lyriq in the luxury marque’s EV lineup, the Optiq features a standard dual-motor powertrain, a high-tech exterior, and an iteration of the marque’s EV design language. Cadillac Society spotted the all-new Optiq undergoing testing, giving us a closer look at the all-new model.

This 2025 Cadillac Optiq wears a coat of metallic gray paint, likely Argent Silver Metallic (paint code GXD), and its bright accents suggest that it is the Luxury trim, rather than the Sport, which features dark exterior accents. The luxury electric crossover shows off Cadillac’s latest EV design language, starting with the faux crystal black “grille” up front. LEDs embedded in the display are choreographed to greet the driver as they approach, much like the Lyriq. When the vehicle is running, the LEDs within the “grille” choreograph a smiley shape.

Horizontal lighting elements trail from the chrome trim running across the top of the grille, while boomerang-shaped vertical lighting elements stretch down on either side of the fascia, hemming in the forward-facing headlight clusters.

A profile view of this Cadillac Optiq reveals a set of multi-spoke wheels and body-color door handles. It also features bright upper daylight opening (DLO) trim, as well as black mirror caps and a black painted roof. The rear quarter panel window features a set of horizontal graphics etched into the glass that follow the slope of the rear end.

At the rear, vertical taillights outline the rear end of the 2025 Cadillac Optiq, along with a vertical center stop lamp mounted in the upper rear spoiler. As previously reported by Cadillac Society, the Optiq features two spoilers; the second is affixed just below the rear glass. Incidentally, the Optiq has no rear wiper.

As for power, the Optiq boasts 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque from its electric motors. From a full charge, the Optiq offers an estimated 300-mile driving range, supported by Regen On Demand and one-pedal driving. Pricing for the luxury electric crossover will start at $54,000, including destination freight charges. Production of the Optiq is expected to begin in the Fall 2024.
