2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition Is The Ultimate Throwback

Harnessing a powerful supercharged V8 engine, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is as track-ready as a luxury sedan can get, but it’s a far cry from the lumbering sedans of Cadillac’s past. Thankfully, for buyers who desire both the prestige of the CT5-V Blackwing and the nostalgic charm of Cadillac’s classic luxury “land boats,” the just-unveiled 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition is the perfect vehicle.

The CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition maintains the overall sporty appearance of the “regular” CT5-V Blackwing, but features a handful of changes that serve as a throwback to the Cadillac Brougham of the 1970s and 1980s. First and foremost, this unit rolls on a set of solid disc chrome wheels that look right out of the Atomic Age. The unique rollers are wrapped in classy whitewall tires. A set of body-color skirted rear wheel wells protect those rollers out back, while a classy gold pinstripe draws the eye along the door’s styling lines.

Perhaps the most defining feature of the CT5-V Blackwing Brougham is the exclusive vinyl top, pictured here in Exquisite Eggshell White, while other premium colors include Scarlet Serenade and Boomer Blue. The vinyl top eliminates the (somewhat controversial) kinked C-pillar design found on the “regular” CT5 range, along with the small window on the rear doors. The top features the gold laureled Cadillac crest ornament in place of the aforementioned window above the rear door. Speaking of ornaments, this special edition features the crested  hood ornament at the front, completing the classic look.

Inside,  the CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition sports a pair of bench seats with room for six passengers. Interior colorways include wine red, purple, black and white, all of which are paired with mahogany wood trim. The two-spoke steering wheel itself is wrapped in a smooth wood with gold inlay framing. A wreathed Caddy crest is placed front and center within the steering wheel airbag cover.

Additionally, the infotainment system has been simplified, now featuring a tape deck, analog clock, and analog gauges. Burying the needle with a tap of the throttle won’t be that hard, either, as the speedometer caps out at 100mph, since the Broughham Edition is all about cruising comfort.

Pricing for the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Brougham Edition can be whatever you want it to be, because we’re just messing with you – it is April Fool’s day, and this car is a figment of our imagination.
