Here’s When 2025 Cadillac CT4 Production Is Scheduled To Start

Initially, the future of the Cadillac CT4 appeared uncertain beyond the 2024 model year. However, as reported by Cadillac Society, the luxury sedan will indeed continue into the 2025 model year in North America, and we’ve now learned when production of the 2025 Cadillac CT4 will kick off.

According to sources familiar with the matter, production of the 2025 Cadillac CT4 will commence at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan on June 3rd, 2024. As usual, that date is tentative and subject to change at any time.

Note that the 2025 CT4 is not expected to gain any major changes or updates compared to its 2024 model year predecessor. That’s in stark contrast to its larger brother, the Cadillac CT5, which received a substantial refresh for the forthcoming model year. At this time, it’s not clear when – or if – the CT4 will be treated to the same.

The 2024 Cadillac CT4 is offered with two powertrain options. This includes the turbocharged 2.0L I4 (production code LSY) engine as base, which is capable of 237 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. This motor is standard on Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trims, and is identifiable by the 350T badge on the decklid. It is bolted to the luxury marque’s eight-speed automatic transmission.

Meanwhile, Premium Luxury trim can be outfitted with the optional turbocharged 2.7L I4 engine (production code L3B), supplying 310 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 350 pound-feet of torque at 4,000 rpm. This engine is bolted to the 10-speed automatic transmission. Regardless of powertrain, front-wheel-drive is standard, while all-wheel-drive will remain an extra-cost option.
