The Onyx and Onyx Lite packages are currently unavailable to order on the 2024 Cadillac XT5, Cadillac Society has learned.
When they are available, the Onyx Package (production code PDB) and the Onyx Lite Package (production code PCP) are both optional for the 2024 Cadillac XT5 Sport. They are not offered on any other trim level. Both bundles are LPO-level, meaning they are dealer-installed.

- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (LPO S2K)
- Gloss Black bodyside moldings (LPO RWK)
- Gloss Black rear license plate applique (LPO RXX)
- Gloss Black front fascia applique(LPO QJ5)
- Gloss Black grille (LPO SJA)
- Gloss Black exhaust bezel (LPO VMP)
- Gloss Black XT6 nameplate (LPO RIK)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems (LPO SFZ)
Onyx Lite Package content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (LPO S2K)
- Gloss Black bodyside moldings (LPO RWK)
- Gloss Black rear license plate applique (LPO RXX)
- Gloss Black front fascia applique (LPO QJ5)
- Gloss Black exhaust bezel (LPO VMP)
- Gloss Black XT6 nameplate (LPO RIK)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems (LPO SFZ)
Note that the only difference between the two packages is the Gloss Black grille (production code SJA), which is part of the Onyx Package but is excluded from the Onyx Lite Package. Additionally, the 20-inch Gloss Black wheels included in each of the packages replace the 20-inch 12-spoke alloy wheels with Pearl Nickel Finish, which are standard on the Sport trim.
At the time of this writing, it’s not clear why both of these packages are unavailable, or when they could return, if at all. However, it’s worth noting that the 20-inch Gloss Black wheels are currently not available to order as a standalone option, which may be the reason for the disruption in availability of the Onyx and Onyx Lite packages. Additionally, the Blue Accent Package, Bronze Accent Package and Red Accent Package are not currently being offered for the 2024 Cadillac XT5.

Cadillac needs an XT5-V model to compete with other Mfgr’s like BMW & FORD’S EXPLORER ST/PLATINUM WITH THE 400 HP 3.0L.
AND EVEN AN XT4-V WITH THE 2.7L TURBO 4CYL. pushing out 310 HP.
NOW THOSE WOULD BE KILLER VEHICLES & bring some younger-blood customers and even older guys like myself…
I loved my XT4 except it had no guts!
