2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ In Flare Metallic Paint: On The Road Photos

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ made its official debut in August 2023. A few months thereafter, Cadillac Society has spotted the full-size luxury electric SUV in the real world without camo, showcasing how it looks “in the wild.” However, the paint job on that particular model appeared to have been damaged after having its camouflage removed, spoiling some of the details. Luckily, our spies have now snapped photos of another Escalade IQ flaunting a flawless coat of Flare Metallic paint.

Flare Metallic is one of seven paint colors that will be available for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, and is one of the five extra-cost choices from that list. In the real world, the color shows as a classy silver with warm undertones.

A black-painted roof is offered with all colors (except for Black Raven), resulting in a total of 13 available color combinations. The particular Escalade IQ seen here does not feature the black-painted roof option, sticking with the more traditional body-color finish.

This particular model is an Escalade IQ Sport, identifiable by its dark exterior accents, including the lower front fascia and “grille” surrounds, blacked-out  mirror caps and window trim, as well as dark accents on the lower doors, just above the fixed running boards. Note that the Escalade IQ’s door handles feature a more “traditional” design as opposed to the lever-action handles introduced on the 2024 Lyriq. The whole ensemble rides on set of sporty-looking multi-spoke alloy wheels with a silver finish and black accents, measuring in at a huge 24 inches in diameter.

Set to be built at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is underpinned by the BT1 platform. It boasts an estimated 450 miles of driving range on a single charge and delivers 680 horsepower and 615 pound-feet of torque in Normal Mode. Switching to Max Mode unleashes an impressive 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque from its electric driveline. Pricing for the full-size electric luxury SUV starts at $130,000.
