2024 Cadillac CT5 Adds New Red Accent Package

The 2024 Cadillac CT5 is on its way, ushering in minor changes and updates for the luxury sedan’s fifth model year. One such change is the addition of a new exterior accent package – the Red Accent Package, which bundles red and dark-themed exterior elements for a little more visual interest.

The Red Accent Package (production code PDK) is a dealer-installed package that adds $3,395 to the overall cost of the CT5 Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trims. The package includes the following equipment (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • Red wheel center cap, LPO (5ZE)
  • Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
  • Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)
  • Decals, LPO (Luxury and Premium Luxury only) (5KB)
  • Decals, LPO (Sport only) (SB9)
  • 20-inch Low Gloss Black alloy wheels with Red accents (SKX)

There are also two other exterior accent packages offered for the 2024 Cadillac CT5: the CT5 Blue Accent Package (production code PDL) and the CT5 Bronze Accent Package (production code PDJ), both of which were introduced for the luxury sedan’s 2023 model year.

Under the hood, the 2024 Cadillac CT5 continues to be offered with a choice of two engine options. The first is the 2.0L I4 (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, which is standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. Models with this engine are identified by the 350T badge on the decklid.

Meanwhile, The twin-turbo 3.0L V6 (production code LGY) is optional on the CT5 Premium Luxury, where it makes 335 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Models with this engine are denoted by the 550T badge. Rear-wheel-drive is standard across all models, while all-wheel-drive is optional for an extra fee.

Under the skin, the CT5 range rides on the luxury marque’s Alpha 2 platform, and the luxury sedan is made at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
