2024 Cadillac XT6 Introduces New Bronze Package

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 arrives as the fourth model year of the luxury crossover’s first generation, bringing only minor changes and updates over the 2023 model year. However, the 2024 XT6 does offer several new exterior accent packages, including the Red Accent Package, Blue Accent Package, and Bronze Accent Package. Here’s an in-depth look at the elements included in the latter, the Bronze Accent Package.

The Bronze Accent Package (production code PDJ) is an LPO-level (dealer-installed) option that is offered exclusively on the 2024 Cadillac XT6 Sport, meaning that it’s unavailable for the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims. Priced at $2,995, the package bundles the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  •  Bronze body decal, LPO (SB9)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
  • Bronze wheel center cap, LPO (5ZD)
  • Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
  • Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)
  • Tire Pressure Monitor, LPO (SD5)

The Black wheels included in the package replace the stock wheels on the XT6 Sport, which are the 20-inch 12-spoke Diamond Cut alloy wheels with Dark Android Satin finish pockets (production code Q6N).

Additionally, the Bronze Accent Package cannot be combined with the optional Onyx Package (production code PDB) or Onyx Lite package (production code PCP).

As a reminder, two engine options are available for the 2024 Cadillac XT6. The first is the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models and is identifiable by the 400 badging on the liftgate.

The second is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is offered exclusively on the base Luxury trim, and the liftgate wears the 350T badge to identify the boosted four. Both engines bolt to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.

Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6, which takes place at Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China, kicked off in June 2023.
