Thanks to a collaboration between Tesla and Cadillac parent company, General Motors, the number of chargers available to owners of electric Cadillac vehicles will soon expand, as Tesla will soon open its charging network to the luxury marque.
Beginning in early 2024, Cadillac EV drivers will be able to take advantage of Tesla’s Supercharger network, which incorporates 12,000 charging stations in North America. From the off, we should note that in order to use the Tesla-branded charging stations, an adapter will be required to make Cadillac EVs compatible. Beyond that, in 2025, Caddy EVs will be built with the proper North American Charging Standard (NACS) connector right from the factory that will allow the vehicles to use the Tesla Supercharger stations without an adapter.
These Supercharger stations will join the already expansive network of 134,000 U.S. chargers available currently through the luxury marque’s Ultium Charge 360 initiative. Cadillac will also make Tesla Superchargers visible on its mobile app to make it easier for drivers to locate and pay for charging services nationwide.

Not only will it help make the transition to electric vehicles more seamless for our customers, but it could help move the industry toward a single North American charging standard.”
