Cadillac Mexico Sales Up 33 Percent In February 2022

Cadillac Mexico sales increased 33 percent to 117 units in February 2022 compared to February 2021.

Individual model sales performance was as follows:

• Cadillac CT4 sales have not yet commenced in Mexico
• Cadillac CT5 sales have not yet commenced in Mexico
• Cadillac Escalade sales increased 84.48 percent to 107 units
• Cadillac XT4 sales decreased 80 percent to 3 units
• Cadillac XT5 sales decreased 53.33 percent to 7 units
• Cadillac XT6 sales have not yet commenced in Mexico
• The Cadillac CT6 was never offered in Mexico

During the first two months of the 2022 calendar year, Cadillac Mexico sales increased 31 percent to 207 units.

Cadillac Mexico sales saw a healthy increase in February 2022, representing the second consecutive month of improved sales on an annual basis after a healthy double-digit increase in January. In this way, Cadillac continues its positive behavior in the Mexican market, where it has accumulated incremental sales during the first two months of the 2022 calendar year, while marketing a reduced range of only three utility vehicles (with the XT6 not being available in the Mexican market).

Once again, the Cadillac Escalade was the protagonist in Mexico, outshining the Cadillac XT4 and XT5 crossovers for the last 16 months. The iconic full-size SUV returned to record triple-digit sales, establishing itself as the best-selling luxury utility vehicle in the country, surpassing each of its rivals.

For its part, Cadillac’s understated crossover utility vehicle lineup in Mexico continues to lose sales volume with increasingly limited inventory and the aforementioned lack of the XT6 model.
