2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Offers New Bronze Accent Package

2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Offers New Bronze Accent Package

A new Bronze Accent Package has been added to the options list of the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, bringing a handful of bronze-themed exterior accents to the ultra-high-performance sedan, Cadillac Society has learned.

The Bronze Accent Package (production code PDJ) is a dealer-installed, or LPO-level, option. That means that its contents are not installed on the assembly line at the factory – rather, they are installed by the dealership.

Priced at $1,095, the package adds a variety of bronze-themed exterior elements (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • (5ZD) Bronze wheel center caps, LPO
  • (SFD) Decals, LPO
  • (SPY) Black lug nuts, LPO
  • (SPZ) Black wheel locks, LPO

It’s worth noting that the Bronze Accent Package is also available on the “regular” Cadillac CT5 and the performance-oriented Cadillac CT5-V. However, the package content differs by trim level.

As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is powered by the luxury marque’s supercharged 6.2L V8 (production code LT4) that’s tuned for 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. That powerhouse connects to either the standard six-speed manual transmission or the optional 10-speed automatic, delivering power exclusively to the rear wheels.

Looking ahead, the super sedan will get a refresh for the 2024 model year, as first reported by Cadillac Society. The super sedan will receive a more aggressive front end and a completely overhauled interior.

Production of the forthcoming 2024 CT5 range is expected to commence at the Lansing Grand River plant in the summer of 2023. In fact, we have already spied a CT5-V Blackwing prototype undergoing testing.

    • No, the “regular” V is auto only.
