The 2023 Cadillac CT4-V will no longer be available to order in the Rift Metallic exterior color at the end of March, Cadillac Society has learned.
Starting the week of March 27th, 2023, Rift Metallic (paint code GRW) will be built out, meaning that it will no longer be available for the 2024 Cadillac CT4-V. This exterior color, which contains silver, white and ceramic tones, was available on the performance-oriented CT4-V and the ultra-high-performance CT4-V Blackwing, adding $625 to the cost of both models. Rift Metallic was not offered on the “regular” CT4, which includes Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport trims.
On the Cadillac CT4-V, Rift Metallic could be outfitted in conjunction with the following interior colorways:
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Sangria with Jet Black accents
This exterior color was originally introduced for the 2021 Cadillac CT4-V, subsequently making its way to the 2022 CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing.
Now that the color is to be built out for the 2023 CT4-V, it’s unclear if it will make a comeback as an option in a subsequent model year. To note, the hue has also been deleted from the CT4-V Blackwing.
As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V is powered by the turbocharged 2.7L I4 engine (production code L3B), which is tuned to deliver a healthy 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. That engine bolts to the luxury marque’s 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering power to the pavement via a standard rear-wheel-drive drivetrain or an optional all-wheel-drive setup.
Pricing for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V starts at $47,990 for the rear-wheel-drive model, and $48,490 for all-wheel-drive.
Production of the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V started in mid-July 2022. Assembly takes place at the Lansing Grand River plant alongside the rest of the CT4 range as well as the Cadillac CT5 family.
