Rift Metallic Paint Unavailable For 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing

The Rift Metallic exterior paint color will soon be built out and will no longer be available to order on the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, Cadillac Society has learned.

Starting with the week of March 27th, 2023, Rift Metallic (paint code GRW) will no longer be available for the CT4-V Blackwing.

When available, the exterior color – which can be described as having a ceramic appearance – is priced at $625 and was able to be combined with the following interior colorways for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing:

  • Jet Black with Adrenaline Red accents
  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Jet Black with Sky Cool Gray accents
  • Natural Tan with Jet Black accents
  • Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents

It’s worth noting that Rift Metallic could not be outfitted in conjunction with the Jet Black with Signet interior colorway.

Rift Metallic is also the only color for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Road Atlanta IMSA Edition, which is one of three special Track Edition models produced in limited quantities for the 2023 model year. This special edition of the super sedan features exclusive exterior graphics that pay homage to the IMSA racing series, as well as a silhouette of the Road Atlanta racetrack affixed to the rear window. The Road Atlanta IMSA Edition is also outfitted with the Carbon Fiber 1 and Carbon Fiber 2 packages, along with carbon fiber accents inside the cabin.

However, Rift Metallic is not exclusive to the 2023 CT4-V Blackwing Road Atlanta IMSA Edition. This exterior color was first introduced for the 2021 Cadillac CT4-V, subsequently making its way to the 2022 CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing. It was not made available for the “regular” CT4 range, however. Now that the color is to be built out for the 2023 CT4-V Blackwing, it’s unclear if it will make a comeback as an option for the super sedan in a subsequent model year.

As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing rides on the Alpha 2 platform, and is built at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. It harnesses the luxury marque’s twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4), which makes 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, and is paired with the six-speed manual transmission as standard or the 10-speed automatic as an option. Power is routed exclusively through the rear two wheels
