Hennessey Debuts 2023 Cadillac Escalade Supercharger Package

There seems to be quite a bit of demand for supercharged Cadillac Escalade models. Not only does the luxury marque itself now offer the supercharged Escalade-V, but Callaway Cars also recently released its own supercharger kit for the full-size luxury SUV. Now, interested customers can take advantage of yet another supercharger package for the Escalade, thanks to Hennessey Performance Engineering’s new kit.

Known as H650, Hennessey’s new 650 Horsepower Supercharger Upgrade kit for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade provides exactly that – a whopping 650 horsepower and 658 pound-feet of torque. For comparison, the Escalade’s naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine (production code L87) produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque in stock form, so this kit certainly delivers quite the performance boost thanks to its new 2.9L supercharger.

Beyond the blower, Hennessey’s kit also includes a high-flow intake and intercooler, a new crankcase ventilation system, Chromoly pushrods, a new stainless steel cat-back exhaust system and retuned engine management software. All told, the kit enables the full-size luxury SUV to gallop from zero to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds, while enabling a quarter-mile run in 13.5 seconds, one second faster than the stock Escalade with the L87 motor.

“Our team is very excited about this supercharging development for GM’s 6.2-liter V8, as it offers a huge audience of GM SUV owners the ability to bump power by an impressive 230 horsepower – that’s a 55 percent increase in power,” Hennessey founder and CEO, John Hennessey, said in a statement. “Additionally, the improved torque increases drivability at all speeds and enhances towing. The H650 upgrade literally transforms sedate family SUVs into performance vehicles.”

Each Hennessey supercharger kit also includes a serial-numbered engine plaque along with a three-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty, whichever comes first. Interested customers should expect to shell out $27,950 for the supercharger kit, not including the price of the Escalade itself.
