2023 Cadillac XT6: Here’s The New Argent Silver Metallic Color

The 2023 Cadillac XT6 adds three new exterior colors to its palette: Radiant Red Tintcoat, Opulent Blue Metallic, and Argent Silver Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Silver hue.

Assigned production code GXD and touch-up paint code WA-130H, Argent Silver Metallic is one of eight exterior colors offered on the three-row luxury crossover, which include:

  • Crystal White Tricoat
  • Latte Metallic
  • Rosewood Metallic
  • Stellar Black Metallic
  • Wilder Metallic
  • Argent Silver Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Opulent Blue Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)

The Argent Silver Metallic color is a no-cost item that is available on all trims and can be combined with all five interior colorways:

  • Cirrus with Dark Titanium accents
  • Cirrus with Jet Black accents
  • Dark Auburn with Jet Black accents
  • Kona Brown Sauvage with Jet Black accents
  • Maple Sugar with Jet Black accents

The 2023 model year represents the fourth model year for the first-generation XT6, ushering in only a few small updates and changes over the preceding 2022 model year.

The 2023 Cadillac XT6 continues to be offered with two engine options, starting with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 gasoline engine (production code LSY), rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque that’s standard only on the base Luxury trim level. The Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels, meanwhile, feature the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 gasoline engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed through the Cadillac nine-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive standard, and all-wheel drive available for Luxury and Premium Luxury, while being standard on Sport. All first-gen XT6 models ride on the C1 Cadillac platform.

XT6 production for North America takes place at the Cadillac Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. The 2023 Cadillac XT6 began rolling off the assembly line on June 10th, 2022.

  2. How long can Cadillac keep shoving the same styles with a few “small changes”.
Do they really expect the customer to purchase the same blah XT6 year after year. Time for both INTERIOR/EXTERIOR CHANGES. Just check out the completion for something new.
