2023 Cadillac XT4: Here’s The New Radiant Red Tintcoat Color

The 2023 Cadillac XT4 adds two new exterior colors to its palette: Argent Silver Metallic and Radiant Red Tintcoat. Here’s our first look at the new Red hue.

Assigned production code GNT and touch-up paint code WA-170H, Radiant Red Tintcoat is one of eight exterior colors offered on the small luxury crossover, which include:

  • Crystal White Tricoat
  • Latte Metallic
  • Galactic Gray Metallic
  • Stellar Black Metallic
  • Rosewood Metallic
  • Wave Metallic
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)
  • Argent Silver Metallic (new for 2023)

The Radiant Red Tintcoat color is an extra-cost item that adds an additional $1,225 to the vehicle’s price. This color is available on all trims and can be combined with all interior colorways except Sedona/Jet Black. Here are all five interior colorways:

  • Light Platinum/Jet Black
  • Jet Black
  • Jet Black with Cinnamon Accents
  • Light Wheat/Jet Black with Red Accents
  • Sedona/Jet Black

After the 2023 model year, the first-generation Cadillac XT4 will receive a mid-cycle refresh. Initially scheduled for the 2022 model year, the refresh was first pushed back to the 2023 model year and then to the 2024 model year due to setbacks stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic after. We spied a prototype of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 for the first time in June. Then in September, we spotted a prototype that better showed the all-new front fascia design.

The 2019 thru 2023 Cadillac XT4 features one drivetrain option in North America – the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It bolts to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.

XT4 production takes place at the Cadillac Fairfax Plant in Kansas. The 2023 Cadillac XT4 began rolling off the assembly line on June 10th, 2022.
