2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Maverick Noir Frost Paint Pricing Revealed

The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is offered in an exclusive matte black paint known as Maverick Noir Frost, as Cadillac Society reported last year. The luxury marque only recently released the very first photos of the limited edition color, along with availability details. And now, Cadillac Society has learned exactly how much the sinister hue will set interested customers back.

Maverick Noir Frost (paint code GNW) will cost an extra $8,120 for the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing in the U.S., according to sources familiar with the matter. That makes it the priciest paint option offered on the super sedan – whose starting price is already steep at $90,995 – and its extremely limited availability overall means that it will certainly be a rare sight to see out on the road. In fact, Maverick Noir is more than double the cost of the $3,925 Dark Emerald Frost, which was the limited edition matte color for the 2022 CT5-V Blackwing.

The luxury marque stated that Maverick Noir Frost will become available for the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing beginning in Spring 2023. The premium color option can be outfitted in conjunction with select interior colorways, including:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Natural Tan with Jet Black accents
  • Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents

Cadillac notes that special care is required to keep the matte Maverick Noir Frost looking sharp.

Riding on the Alpha 2 platform, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing delivers 669 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque thanks to the luxury marque’s supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4). All that power is routed exclusively via the two rear wheels through either the standard six-speed manual transmission or optional 10-speed automatic. Production of the super sedan takes place at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
