Here’s When 2024 Cadillac XT4 Production Is Scheduled To Start

The 2024 Cadillac XT4 will finally get its long-awaited refresh. Now, Cadillac Society has learned exactly when the forthcoming luxury crossover will enter production.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the start of regular production (SORP) of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 will take place in April 2023 at the Fairfax plant in Kansas.

Cadillac Society has spotted several examples of the refreshed XT4 undergoing testing in recent months, giving us a good look at what it will look like once it’s revealed. One set of spy shots showing a 2024 XT4 Sport prototype revealed the updated front end design, including an all-new front fascia, which will feature a two-tiered lighting configuration that moves the primary headlights lower into the front fascia, just inside of the vertical lighting signature/DRL.

These design changes will align the XT4 more closely with Cadillac’s current design language.

Out back, it looks like the 2024 Cadillac XT4 will carry over the pre-refreshed model’s tail lights. However, the lower end of the fascia will be updated with a new bumper cover and exhaust treatment.

Inside, the forthcoming XT4 will be very different from the current 2023 model, overhauling the cockpit with a curved screen that will span the instrument panel and the center stack, combining both into what appears to be a seamless display – much like the fifth-gen Escalade and new Lyriq. We also know that the upcoming 2024 Cadillac XT4 will feature the luxury marque’s advanced driver assist system, Super Cruise, which has been previously unavailable on the compact crossover.

The overhauled cockpit of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 refresh

As far as powertrains go, we expect the 2024 Cadillac XT4 to retain a singular engine option: the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY). Under the hood of the pre-refreshed 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 model year XT4 models, the four-cylinder makes 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
