2023 Cadillac Escalade-V Now Available With Onyx Package

2023 Cadillac Escalade-V Now Available With Onyx Package

The Onyx Package, previously available on the 2023 Cadillac Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum trim levels, has now made its way to the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V, Cadillac Society has learned. As a reminder, the package adds a set of dark-themed exterior accents.

Specifically, the Onyx Package (production code PDB) for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is a dealer-installed (LPO level) option that includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
  • Gloss Black Escalade nameplate, LPO (RIK)
  • 22-inch Forged Multi-Spoke alloy wheels with Satin Graphite finish and Laser Etching, LPO (SQO)

At this time, pricing for the Onyx Package for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V has not yet been released. However, when equipped on the Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum, it adds an additional $2,510 to the price of the luxury SUV. It’s worth noting that the 22-inch wheels included with the Onyx Package for the Escalade-V are different from the sets available for the Escalade Sport and Sport Platinum trim levels.

As a reminder, the all-new high-performance 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is motivated by the luxury marque’s supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4). That blown eight-cylinder powerhouse is capable of a whopping 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque, making the Escalade-V the most powerful Cadillac ever made to date. That engine bolts to Caddy’s ten-speed automatic transmission, throwing power to all four wheels for optimal traction.

The high-performance luxury SUV is built on the luxury marque’s T1 platform and entered production back in mid-July at the Arlington plant in Texas. Pricing for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V starts at $149,900, although pre-owned models might cost significantly more than that.

  1. Of course they’re making EVERYTHING available on this V Escalade. Frankly, I’m surprised they’re not offering a “Malibu Beach Home Option” for an additional 12.5 million….why not…right?

  2. Cadillac for $150,000 and can’t get a Lyriq debut edition in our driveways after one year!
March production, 1st quarter ‘22, then from
Tenn. plant 2nd quarter, finally by end of the
“Summer” – and when you call directly to the Detroit office they tell you that your Lyriq may start in production by November if your
lucky— and you wonder why half of the stand alone dealers are going out of business!
