After Cadillac Mexico sales fell for the first time this year in June, the luxury marque posted another drop in sales volume in July as a result of lower unit availability of its best-selling model – the Escalade. As such, the July results become the second consecutive drop that Cadillac has accumulated in the Mexican market.
Much like in June, the drop in July was the result of a not-insignificant decline in Cadillac Escalade sales as a result of lower unit availability in the Latin country, which was also the case in the United States and Canada. However, the Escalade remains the marque’s best-seller by a wide margin in Mexico.
For its part, the Cadillac XT4 and XT5 crossovers again managed to post gains in the Mexican market during July. In fact, both nameplates have now accumulated five consecutive months of gains in the country thanks to improvements in inventory.
