A couple of week ago, Cadillac announced that it would soon introduce the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition. The new special edition will be offered as three vehicles with unique exclusive decals and styling, and interested parties won’t have to wait too long for order books to open up.
Order books for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition will open on August 1st, 2022, according to a recent announcement by the luxury marque. Customers will be able to place an order for one of three Track Edition models – Road America IMSA Edition, Watkins Glen IMSA Edition, and the Sebring IMSA Edition. Each were inspired by a North American race track where Cadillac found success in its racing efforts.
Full details regarding the new CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition models has yet to be revealed, but Cadillac indicated that each would be equipped with both the Carbon Fiber 1 and Carbon Fiber 2 packages, along with exclusive decals on the hood and doors, as well as an IMSA decal on the front splitter. Inside, the models will feature unique colors and graphics. Additionally, they will each sport a silhouette of their respective racetracks on the rear window.

It also appears that the Road Atlanta IMSA Edition will wear Rift Metallic, the Sebring IMSA Edition will be painted in Maverick Noir Frost, and the Watkins Glen IMSA Edition will be adorned in Electric Blue.
We don’t expect the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition to feature a performance upgrade over the “regular” CT4-V Blackwing. In other words, these special edition models will likely be appearance packages that retain the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4), which is rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. It’s paired with the luxury marque’s six-speed manual transmission as standard or the 10-speed automatic as an option.
