2022 Cadillac XT5 Gets Small Price Increase

The 2022 Cadillac XT5 has received a minor price increase of $200.

The increase in price is applicable toward the destination freight charge, which increased from $1,195 to $1,395, raising the overall cost of the luxury crossover by $200. The MSRP of the 2022 Cadillac XT5, meanwhile, remained the same.

The small price increase brings the starting price of a 2022 Cadillac XT5 Luxury to $49,990 for front-wheel-drive models and $51,990 for all-wheel-drive models. The Premium Luxury front-wheel-drive model starts at $54,390, while the all-wheel-drive variant begins at $56,390. Finally, the XT5 Sport – available only in all-wheel-drive form – starts at $59,690.

2022 Cadillac CT5-V Updated Starting MSRPs
Trim Level Drivetrain Powertrain 2022 MSRP + DFC
Luxury 350T FWD Turbo 2.0L I4 LSY $49,990
Luxury 350T AWD Turbo 2.0L I4 LSY $51,990
Premium Luxury 400 FWD 3.6L V6 LGX $54,390
Premium Luxury 400 AWD 3.6L V6 LGX $56,390
Sport 400 AWD 3.6L V6 LGX $59,690

As a reminder, the Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels of the 2022 Cadillac XT5 are equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) as standard, which is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. These models wear the 350T badge on the liftgate. The naturally-aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, is optional on the Premium Luxury trim and standard on the Sport trim. These models wear the 400 badge on the liftgate. Both engine options bolt to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.

It should be noted that some units of the 2022 Cadillac XT5 are currently being built without certain features as a result of the ongoing global microchip shortage. The luxury crossover is currently shipping without features like front and rear park assist, heated and ventilated seats, along with heated steering wheels. The luxury marque indicated that heated and ventilated seats along with heated steering wheels will be available for retrofitting at a later date, however.
