2022 Cadillac CT4-V: Here’s The Electric Blue Color

The 2022 Cadillac CT4-V gets two new exterior colors: Blaze Orange Metallic and Electric Blue. Here’s our first look at the new blue hue.

Assigned production code GMO and touch-up paint code WA-632D, Electric Blue is one of nine exterior colors offered on the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V.

  • Black Raven
  • Infrared Tintcoat
  • Rift Metallic
  • Satin Steel Metallic
  • Shadow Metallic
  • Summit White
  • Wave Metallic
  • Blaze Orange Metallic (new for 2022 model year)
  • Electric Blue (new for 2022 model year)

The Electric Blue color color is an extra-cost item that adds an additional $625 to the vehicle’s price. The new hue is available on the CT4-V but not on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, or Sport trims. The new color is can be combined with all available interior colorways. The color is also available on the CT4-V Blackwing, and we showed you live photos of that model in Electric Blue late last year.

Here are all available 2022 Cadillac CT4 V-Series interior color combinations:

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents
  • Natural Tan with Jet Black accents
  • Sangria with Jet Black accents
  • Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents

The Cadillac CT4 range received a few minor changes for the 2022 model year, including the deletion of three exterior colors – Velocity Red, Evergreen Metallic, and Dark Blue Moon Metallic. These have been indirectly replaced by Blaze Orange Metallic, Electric Blue, and Dark Emerald Frost (the last of these has been discontinued).

In addition, the small luxury sedan introduces the new Onyx Package, which adds gloss black wheels and various black exterior trim pieces. There’s also a new Radiant Package that gives the car additional bright exterior accents. Cadillac also added standard wireless phone charging along with more standard active safety features.

Even more importantly, the CT4 family gained the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing for the 2022 model year. The Blackwing represents the most powerful vehicle in the Cadillac CT4 range, harnessing a set of twin turbochargers bolted to the 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4).  The setup is rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, routed exclusively to the rear wheels via either the standard six-speed manual transmission or the optional 10-speed automatic. It also features unique front and rear fascias, upgraded chassis and suspension systems, upgraded performance brakes, and two available carbon fiber aero packages.

The 2022 Cadillac CT4 family is produced at the Cadillac Lansing Grand River Plant in Michigan for all markets except for China, alongside the Cadillac CT5 family and the Chevy Camaro muscle car.
