The latest hot-to-trot Caddy performance sedans, the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, are offered in a multitude of attractive exterior paint colors. One of those colors, Dark Emerald Matte, just got a name change last week, and is now dubbed Dark Emerald Frost.
Dark Emerald Frost
The Dark Emerald Matte paint option, now called Dark Emerald Frost, is tagged with production code G7W, and is offered as an optional extra for both the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. Pricing for the special paint color is set at $3,925, and it is offered in conjunction with Jet Black, Natural Tan with Jet Black, and Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black with regard to the available interior color combos. The touch-up paint number for Dark Emerald Frost is WA-620G.
The color itself is unchanged, despite the name change, with a cool green hue and matte finish that complements the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing body panels in a unique fashion, ditching the traditional glossy finish for a custom look.
Dark Emerald Frost
Priced at $3,925, Dark Emerald Frost is the most expensive paint option offered for the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and it carries late and limited availability. The hue is also notable as the first matte color option ever offered for both the CT4 and CT5 vehicle lines, as well as the third-ever matte finish offered by Cadillac within the last decade.
In total, 10 exterior colors are available for the Blackwing sedans, including:
- Satin Steel Metallic
- Summit White
- Black Raven
- Blaze Orange Metallic
- Shadow Metallic
- Wave Metallic
- Electric Blue
- Rift Metallic
- Infrared Tintcoat
Summit White and Black Raven are offered at not additional charge, while Satin Steel Metallic, Blaze Orange Metallic, Shadow Metallic, Electric Blue, and Rift Metallic all require an extra $625. Infrared Tintcoat requires an extra $1,225.
