We previously had reason to believe that the all-new, fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade would launch for the 2020 model year. However, new information has come to light suggesting that Cadillac’s range-topping utility will launch for the 2021 model year, instead.
That much is according to sources familiar with future Cadillac product plans speaking to Cadillac Society on the basis of anonymity.
Sources also told us that the current, fourth-generation Cadillac Escalade will soldier on for the 2020 model year with very limited changes that involve a new color and not much else.
We should know more soon, as we dig into this. In the meantime, be sure to subscribe to Cadillac Society for more Cadillac Escalade news and Cadillac news.

Sure hope it’s worthy of the wait. To make customers wait then come out with a also ran will spell disaster for the Escalade. IMO

The new Escalade needs to be revolutionary and not evolutionary . It needs to be an SUV that desrerves a 100g price tag . It is Cadillacs star , so lets hope it shines .

So there will be no new exterior design. Was hoping for a more streamlined look. I’m sure it will still be nice.

The new exterior design is coming for 2021. Just not for 2020, as we expected.
