We had a similar sound but it only occurred when you were hitting the brakes and decelerating. They had the car for one month, gave us a nice loaner. They had to bring in the factory technicians at great cost to GM. Turns out there wads a baffle that was not properly installed at the factory and other pieces were hiding it from the dealer. They had to take the wheels off in the front and touch everything until they found the bugger. It had been installed backwards and so was not attached to where it was supposed to be. Jesus.
heywardjrParticipantWe easily called the dealer about the two missing chips and were instructed to bring it in for inspection, we did, then we were told the chips were ordered for our car and would arrive in 2 weeks. Sure enough the car was fixed within a couple of hours. That was 6 months ago for a 2022 CT5. If the dealer gives ru n around I would talk to another dealer. There is no excuse now as the chip shortage is nearly over for most manufacturers. If they delayed anymore we would go the Better Business route and have them buy back the car. Force the issue.
heywardjrParticipantDid you sign up for the wifi service with your cellphone provider? You have to assign a cell number to your car and pay for another line to use wifi hotspot.
heywardjrParticipantEddie, so sorry you are getting that bullshit as our 2022 CT5 was missing parts and all we had to do was go to the dealer, they checked the paperwork from the factory and then ordered the two chips not installed. Two weeks later they called and within hours we were fixed. I wonder if another dealer would be advisable. It might be worth a call to one that is close or within an hours drive or so. Never would hurt. You might get a dealer who is sympathetic. I know the Moore Cadillac in Fairfax, VA is great for servicing. We know the management and they are top notch and go out of their way. I just do not understand how Cadillac is producing 24 XT4s without any issues of missing chips but leave the 2022 or other year models still not fixed. That would be grounds for lemon law or forcing GM to own up to the problem or buy back the car. Maybe ask the dealer about a buy back since you never got a complete car from day one.Good luck.

Does your Car have Safety Recalls? → Check hereheywardjrParticipantThe title of this thread says 2024 XT4 but that is erroneous as you mention 2022 in your post.
heywardjrParticipantTime to file a complaint and pursue the lemon law in your state. That will get their attention as clearly you did not get the fully functional car you ordered. GM dealer installed all of our missing chips a few months ago. Tell the dealer you are pursuing the buy back / lemon law if they don’t have the parts. Give them a few days and if they still have no idea, them get the ball rolling. I test drove a 2024 XT4 and it had all the working parts. Its a disgrace that they are producing new cars but not notifying previous customers of the chip availability.
heywardjrParticipantMy other car is a 2022 Cadillac CT5 and about 6 months ago the dealer made an appointment for us to bring the car in to add the various chips including the heated steering wheel. All is working fine now. I’d be pushing on your dealer to order the parts and get it working or follow your state’s lemon law and make them buy it back as they have not delivered the fully functional car you purchased. By now, everyone should be fully working for 2022 models.
heywardjrParticipantI just ordered my 2024 Sport and you have to order it and pay like $117
