Ours is a 2020 XT4. Has 36,000 m. on it now. The only problem we’ve ever had was the SES light came on. I pulled the code and it indicated the evap. control system had a leak. Turned out there was an SB for this. Took it to the dealer and in about an hour they put on a new evap. system vacuum pump. No other problems and we both like the car.
What an excellent, informative and helpful post sir. Thank you for taking the time. My wife’s car is a ’20 XT4. And what a useless counterfeit plug that service manager was. If it was me, I’d never take it to that Cadillac dealer again.
Yeah, I did call Helm and they had no idea when the XT4 service manual would be available. They told me that they didn’t even have the 2019 XT4 manual yet. This was two months ago.
