Creating this to have a consolidated thread for the upcoming Cadillac CT5. Rumors, expectations, questions… put them all in there.
March 25, 2018 at 12:01 pm #1873Alex LuftKeymasterOne of the bigger questions about the upcoming CT5 is its size, as brought up by reader Felix here…
Cadillac South Korea Sales Increase 78 Percent To 146 Units In February 2018
To answer this: I believe that the CT5 will be exactly in between the current ATS and current (third-gen) CTS from a size standpoint.
In other words, I think it will be around 189-190 inches in length on a rear-drive chassis. The car will essentially be what I call a “compact plus” – slightly larger in size than the C-segment (compact) luxury cars such as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, etc, but priced like those vehicles.

What with COVID 19 affecting so much social behavior perhaps a 2nd look at the coupe market would be in order. Speaking for me I am married, retired no kids and would jump at acquiring a CT5 or CT4 coupe.

October 1, 2020 at 10:28 am #77141jtterry62ParticipantHas anyone heard when the 2021 CT5 will be available, or at least the build sheets made public?
November 10, 2020 at 2:45 am #77743HerenowParticipantDoes anyone know if 2021 CT5s are being produced now?
November 17, 2020 at 9:17 am #77910NicholleParticipantDoes anyone have a rattling sound when re-accelerating 1RPM in the CT5 350T?
January 5, 2021 at 3:50 pm #78831Marshall SParticipantDoes anyone know when the Diamond Sky edition will be available to order and or view?
January 11, 2021 at 10:31 am #78967FrancParticipantIs it known – when the sales will start in Evrope? Thank you for reply…

November 11, 2021 at 7:55 am #83495ecaravanosParticipantI am STILL waiting for my 2021 CT5 premium luxury sedan with Super Cruise since January 27, 2021. It will be a year soon, and it has become somewhat of a joke now among my friends. Initially, I was told a car ordered with Super Cruise will take 8 to 12 weeks. According to what I have read, production stopped in May for the 2021. The 2022’s supposedly began in mid-October. I have no idea (and the Dealership claims the same) on what is happening. Will I get a 2022 and at what price. My contract is for a 2021. So I have many frustrations.
November 11, 2021 at 9:45 pm #83569Tedluby@optonline.netParticipantI ordered a 2022 ct5 premium luxury on September 23rd and was just updated last week that has reached order acceptance code 2000 so I’m not sure how much longer it will take to get in the next step but the order book has been opened since mid-september for the 2022 model if that helps anyone
November 11, 2021 at 10:05 pm #83570ecaravanosParticipantI have had a confirmed acceptance order for many month now, but until it is “picked up” by Cadillac for actual scheduled production I don’t think it means much. I wish I am wrong for your sake.
November 11, 2021 at 10:14 pm #83571Tedluby@optonline.netParticipantTheir terminology and coding is very confusing and I’m really frustrated as to why we as customers can’t check on our own orders. I ordered a new BMW in 2012 and I was able to check on the website the progress of the build of the car and also the transport ship. I find I get better information from Cadillacs chat on their website than my actual dealer all I do is check once a week. Hopefully things will start moving now that production is up in full swing
November 12, 2021 at 12:41 pm #83572e_s_jonesParticipantecaravanos, when you give Cadillac your order number (assuming you have one) what do they say your status is?
