I am just frustrated with Cadillac. This is the first time I ever considered buying a Cadillac and although the Salesman has been empathetic, nothing is happening. They have offered me a complete refund on my deposit, but at this point I have waited so long. I realize these delays are an industry-wide problem, but still, more information to their customers should be offered.

When I do the chat with them and give them my order number at first I was at status 1100 graded to status 2000 which means order accepted by GM. If you call them they can explain to you what all the different steps are and what they mean

ecaravanos, when you give Cadillac your order number (assuming you have one) what do they say your status is?

Their terminology and coding is very confusing and I’m really frustrated as to why we as customers can’t check on our own orders. I ordered a new BMW in 2012 and I was able to check on the website the progress of the build of the car and also the transport ship. I find I get better information from Cadillacs chat on their website than my actual dealer all I do is check once a week. Hopefully things will start moving now that production is up in full swing

I have had a confirmed acceptance order for many month now, but until it is “picked up” by Cadillac for actual scheduled production I don’t think it means much. I wish I am wrong for your sake.

I ordered a 2022 ct5 premium luxury on September 23rd and was just updated last week that has reached order acceptance code 2000 so I’m not sure how much longer it will take to get in the next step but the order book has been opened since mid-september for the 2022 model if that helps anyone

Congratulations Jeff!!! I would be say it took me about a month and half to have it built, once mine was accepted.

😃 Jeff from Pittsburgh. My dealer called today to confirm that my build was officially accepted by Cadillac today. I am not worried about the process going forward, just glad to know that I am now in the system.

That’s good news!! I’m still waiting for an update from my dealer as I have not heard back from him yet. We will have to keep our fingers and toes crossed!!

Shari all my dealer said it should arrive by early December.

I am STILL waiting for my 2021 CT5 premium luxury sedan with Super Cruise since January 27, 2021. It will be a year soon, and it has become somewhat of a joke now among my friends. Initially, I was told a car ordered with Super Cruise will take 8 to 12 weeks. According to what I have read, production stopped in May for the 2021. The 2022’s supposedly began in mid-October. I have no idea (and the Dealership claims the same) on what is happening. Will I get a 2022 and at what price. My contract is for a 2021. So I have many frustrations.

Hello BrightH; Jeff from Pittsburgh. I also placed my order in mid August and to date mine has not officially been accepted by Cadillac. I wish I could offer you the needed comments, but unfortunately I cannot. If you are still at code 1100, all I can say is that you have a ways to go. I hope you will have better luck than me.
