Cadillac Mexico sales were flat at 81 units in September 2024 compared to September 2023.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Cadillac Escalade sales decreased 23.73 percent to 45 units
- Cadillac Lyriq sales totaled 5 units
- Cadillac XT4 sales increased 110 percent to 21 units
- Cadillac XT5 sales decreased 16.67 percent to 10 units
- Cadillac does not offer the CT4, CT5 or XT6 models in Mexico
During the first nine months of the 2024 calendar year, Cadillac Mexico sales decreased 0.7 percent to 841 units.

The Cadillac Society Take
After experiencing two months of consecutive gains, Cadillac Mexico sales remained flat in September 2-24 compared to the same month in 2023. The results enable the luxury marque to end the third quarter in the green after suffering a streak of red during the first half of the 2024 calendar year.
The 81 deliveries experienced by Cadillac in Mexico are the result of a parity between the volume lost by older models in the portfolio plus additional units gained by the marque’s most recent vehicle launches. The best-selling Cadillac Escalade was again the most affected, losing 14 units year-over-year. These team up with two fewer deliveries of the Cadillac XT5 for a combined loss of 16 units.
By contrast, the refreshed Cadillac XT4 continues its strong momentum in the Mexican market, being the marque’s only model to see an increase in sales volume. The compact crossover added 11 deliveries to the additional five units of the all-electric Cadillac Lyriq for a total gain of 16 units, which exactly matched the volume lost, balancing the scales.
