Check Out The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq In Opulent Blue: Live Photo Gallery

Not too long ago, Cadillac Society brought you photos of the all-electric 2026 Cadillac Vistiq in Argent Silver Metallic as it underwent testing. We’ve since spotted another pre-production model being tested, this time in Opulent Blue paint, and this one has some interesting details that we haven’t seen on other units.

The dark blue paint puts a particular emphasis on the Vistiq’s black and silver trim elements. From a head-on view, we can see its five-point grille with a patterned LED display contained within, reminiscent of the shape of the Cadillac crest itself. The thin, horizontal lighting elements just beneath the hood act as emergency flashers and turn signals, while the vertical lighting clusters further down act as the primary headlights. There is a thick chrome trim bar connecting the two horizontal lighting assemblies, which is echoed by the wing-shaped trim pieces on the lower third of the front fascia.

Interestingly,  glimpse of this 2026 Cadillac Vistiq in profile reveals that it has mismatched door handles and window trim. The driver’s side sports body color door handles and a black panel arcing above the side windows, while the passenger’s side is fitted with silver handles and a silver trim piece above the windows. Typically, dark elements are indicative of Sport models, while brightwork is representative of Luxury models, so it’s a bit odd to see them both on the same vehicle. It does, however, sport the same black and silver lower door cladding as prior testers.

This Vistiq also features the unique horizontal etching on the rearmost glass panel. This design isn’t present (or perhaps it’s just heavily concealed) on official images released of the Vistiq, but it looks to have made it to the production model.

A set of upper taillamps catch the eye first when looking at the rear fascia; these serve as the running lights. Above these is a liftgate-mounted spoiler, which houses the CHMSL, or Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp, which is has an intricate V-shaped graphic in the middle. A chrome trim piece underpins the rear glass, while the lower portion of the rear fascia features a black and gray valance.

Despite the mis-matched body sides, the presence of the bright accents at the front and rear ends make us conclude that this is, in fact, a Luxury trim, and not a Sport.

At the time of this writing, the luxury marque has not revealed much about the forthcoming Vistiq including pricing, powertrain details and other specs. We do know that it will ride on a variant of the BEV3 platform shared with the Lyriq, and that production will take place at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.

  1. If its like the 2025 LYRIQ then the BLUE will only be offered on the more expensive SPORT models.

Cadillac’s trim levels lately are dopey. Playing games with wheels and paint colors and CLAIMING one is LUXURY and one is SPORT when there is NO DIFFERENCE , or essentially none, in the underlying car.

If people in general are sufficiently affluent to afford these cars, chances are they are wise enough to see through Caddy’s marketing malarkey.

  2. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Electric cars are silent and that goes hand in hand with what a Cadillac is supposed to be. I was recently in a Lyriq and it felt like Cadillac has rediscovered themselves.
