2025 Cadillac CT4-V Drops These Paint Colors

The most significant changes on the way for the 2025 Cadillac CT4-V pertain to its exterior color lineup. In fact, Cadillac Society has learned that the high-performance luxury sedan will drop three exterior colors previously offered for the 2024 model year.

The three colors on the chopping block are Black Diamond Tricoat (paint code GLK), Midnight Steel Metallic (paint code GXU) and Velocity Red (paint code G7C). The first, Black Diamond Tricoat, was the most exclusive of the bunch. It was first introduced for the 2024 CT4-V as a one-year-only hue honoring the 20th anniversary of the V-Series sub-brand, adding $1,995 to the overall cost of the luxury sedan.

Velocity Red (G7C)

Midnight Steel Metallic (GXU)

Velocity Red was also only around for a single model year, introduced for 2024 and subsequently discontinued at the end of that model year. This extra-cost option was offered as a $625 extra. Finally, Midnight Steel Metallic was first introduced for the 2023 CT4-V, and was offered for an additional $625 before it was stricken from the order books for the 2025 CT4-V.

Meanwhile, three brand-new exterior colors will take the place of the aforementioned hues. These are Deep Space Metallic (paint code GAI), Drift Metallic (paint code GAE) and Typhoon Metallic (paint code GBW). As of this writing, the luxury marque has not revealed pricing or availability of the new paint colors.

Like all its predecessors starting with the 2020 model year, the 2025 CT4-V will continue to be powered by the higher-output version of the turbocharged 2.7L I4 gasoline engine (production code L3B), rated at 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. The boosted four is mated to the luxury marque’s 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional.

Production of the 2025 Cadillac CT4 range will commence in June 2024 at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
