The 2025 Cadillac Optiq was unveiled back in November 2023, slotting in beneath the Lyriq in the luxury marque’s ever-expanding lineup of battery electric vehicles. Now, the luxury electric crossover has been formally introduced in the U.S., packed with premium tech features and boasting an agile, sporty figure.
The 2025 Cadillac Optiq features a standard dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain delivering 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. From a full charge, the Optiq offers an estimated 300-mile driving range, supported by Regen On Demand and one-pedal driving, which allows the driver to slow down and stop the vehicle using only the accelerator pedal. The technology also recycles kinetic energy to charge the battery pack while driving.
Outside, the 2025 Cadillac Optic boasts the luxury marque’s signature EV styling wrapped up in a lithe, fastback-like profile. It features a fixed-glass roof, a black crystal “grille” with a laser-etched pattern, and its rear quarter window sports a unique set of horizontal graphics that lend a sense of forward motion to the luxury crossover even while it’s standing still. Of course, just like its big brother, the Lyriq, the Optiq “greets” its driver as they approach with a unique, choreographed lighting sequence.
The cabin of the Optiq features illuminated décor and other embellishments, including horizontal graphics similar to those found on the rear quarter window. Its 33-inch diagonal LED display handles the instrument cluster behind the steering wheel and infotainment controls stretching into the electric luxury crossover’s center stack. The Optiq is stacked with a wide array of standard safety features, Google built-in compatibility, advanced radar and ultrasonic sensor tech, and a standard 19-speaker AKG Audio System with Dolby Atmos.
Additionally, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq features Super Cruise, the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assist feature, with a complimentary three-year subscription to the service.
The 2025 Cadillac Optiq will be offered in Luxury and Sport trims. Pricing will start at a cool $54,000, including destination freight charges. Production of the Optiq is expected to kick off in Fall 2024.
