Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Is Car And Driver 10Best For 2024 Winner

Thanks to a powerful twin-turbo powerhouse and very competent handling, the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is an incredible high-performance sedan. And now, for the third year in a row, it’s been recognized by Car & Driver as one of the vehicles on its 10Best for 2024 list – an honor it’s held since it launched.

“What do the 1990s Chicago Bulls and the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing have in common?” the publication writes. “You never get tired of watching them win.”

Car & Driver commends the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing as being one of the best “driver’s cars” on the market, calling out its attractive styling and its exhaust sound in particular, which “emits all manner of pops and burbles.” This encourages anyone behind the wheel of the super sedan to give it a little more throttle than may be necessary just for the pleasure of hearing the super sedan sing.

The 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing harnesses the-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4). The boosted six makes 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, and is paired with the luxury marque’s six-speed manual transmission as standard or the 10-speed automatic as an option, although the publication says that it’s certainly worth it to opt for the manual transmission. Regardless of transmission, power is routed exclusively to the rear wheels

Despite its status as a performance vehicle, the CT4-V Blackwing lends itself well to daily driver duties, and it’s the more affordable of the two Cadillac Blackwing super sedans, with a starting price of $62,890. However, being not very generous with packages can quickly grow catapult that price into the $80K range.
