The $975K Neiman Marcus Cadillac Celestiq Carmen Is The Ultimate Holiday Gift

Finding a gift for the person who seemingly has everything can be a challenge, but this holiday season, Nieman Marcus has just the thing that’s guaranteed to be one-of-a-kind: the Cadillac Celestiq Carmen electric luxury sedan, which can be had for a cool $975,000.

Catering to the tastes of “discerning customers in pursuit of the extraordinary,” the Cadillac Celestiq Carmen was commissioned by the luxury marque itself, and it’s the only one in existence.

This isn’t the first time that Caddy and Neiman Marcus have joined forces. Back in 2003, Caddy produced 101 units of a limited edition Cadillac XLR, although this Celestiq is quite a bit more exclusive.

Specifications of this special Cadillac Celestiq were not disclosed, but it will likely include the same premium equipment as other Celestiqs, such as a series of high-definition displays in the interior, Super Cruise, an SPD SmartGlass panoramic roof with variable opacity and a four-zone interior climate system.

In addition to the Cadillac Celestiq Carmen model, the ultra-luxury electric sedan’s new owner will also be treated to a two-day behind-the-scenes tour at the Cadillac House design studio, located at the GM Global Technical Center campus in Warren, Michigan. Here, the customer will learn the ins and outs of what it takes to tailor each Celestiq to its new owners’ specifications. In addition, the experience also includes a stay at a luxury hotel and dining at several high-end restaurants in the Detroit area.

Notably, $25,000 of the vehicle’s $975,000 purchase price will be donated to the Detroit Opera House. For comparison, the Cadillac Celestiq’s starting price tag is $340,000, signaling that the Carmen edition model will (hopefully) be extremely well-equipped.
