The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is offered in eight exterior paint colors. Most of these can be paired with a Black-painted roof for a two-tone paint scheme. However, Cadillac Society has learned that the Black-painted roof is currently not available for the luxury electric crossover.
At this time, it’s not clear why the black-painted roof (production code 41T) option is unavailable, or when it will be offered again. When it was available, the black roof can be paired with all exterior colors, except for Stellar Black Metallic (paint code GB8), which already has a black-painted roof. The black roof is optional on the Luxury 3 and Sport 3 trim levels, and adds $600 to the overall cost of the Lyriq.
All exterior color options for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq are as follows (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
When compared to the 2023 model year, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq features a revamped trim level lineup, gaining a new entry base trim known as Tech. The Luxury and new Sport trim levels slot in above it within the revised Cadillac trim level structure. In fact, the Luxury and Sport trims contain Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, Sport 2, Luxury 3 or Sport 3 trims. The higher the number, the more well-equipped the trim level.
As a reminder, the Lyriq rides on the luxury marque’s BEV3 platform, and production is handled at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq can be outfitted with either a single Ultium Drive motor on the rear axle. A second Ultium Drive motor can be added to the front axle for an all-wheel-drive configuration that’s also more powerful.
