The Cadillac Escalade IQ will be revealed in full in less than two months on August 9th, 2023, and the luxury marque released a short teaser video to show off a handful of design elements that will be found on the luxury electric utility vehicle. The teaser video, which is roughly 30 seconds long, teases the Escalade IQ’s design elements in the blink of an eye, so we’re taking a closer look at some of the details revealed in the teaser.
One of the first things showcased in the teaser is the front end of the Cadillac Escalade IQ. Viewers are only allowed a short approximation of what the front end of the vehicle will look like.
A wide shot depicts a front end that’s very similar to that of the Cadillac Lyriq, featuring a set of vertical lighting elements found on the Lyriq as well as on the current ICE-powered Escalade. Like on the Lyriq, the vertical lights on the Escalade IQ are arranged in two layers, with the outer layer being the lighting signature and the inner layer serving as the primary forward lighting source.
Additionally, a closer shot seems to showcase the Escalade IQ’s turn signal – a narrow horizontal lighting element that seems to be connected to the vertical lights.
Out back, a prominent spoiler juts out from the top of the liftgate. The spoiler, which integrates to the horizontally-oriented center high mounted brake light (CHMSL), appears to be quite prominent, as evidenced by a prototype of the Cadillac Escalade IQ that Cadillac Society recently spied undergoing testing.
A short snippet of video also displays the wheels that the Escalade IQ will ride on. These appear to be very similar to the wheel design seen on the camouflaged prototype.
Judging by the short glimpse of the Cadillac Escalade IQ interior, which appears to feature a large, curved screen. This setup appears to take after the Cadillac Celestiq, which features a large, coast-to-coast screen spanning the instrument cluster and infotainment display before continuing to run across the dash, ahead of the front passenger.
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ will ride on the luxury marque’s BT1 platform, and will be assembled at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant in Detroit, Michigan.
