2024 Cadillac CT4 Onyx Package Adds Rear Spoiler

The 2024 Cadillac CT4 only gains a handful of changes and updates over its 2023 model year predecessor. One of these changes pertains to the optional Onyx Package, which bundles dark-themed exterior accents to add a sinister look to the luxury sedan, and Cadillac Society has learned that this accent package now includes a rear spoiler.

The Onyx Package (production code PDB) includes a body-color rear spoiler (production code 5V5) for the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, while the Sport trim gains the Black-painted rear spoiler (production code 5ZV). These spoilers were not previously included in the Onyx Package for the 2023 model year. As such, the new Onyx Package for the 2024 Cadillac CT4 now bundles the following equipment (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • 19-inch alloy wheels with Gloss Black finish, LPO (SOU)
  • Gloss Black CT4 nameplate, LPO (RIK)
  • Black Mirror caps, LPO (5JS)
  • Black Grille, LPO (5XR)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ) (Luxury only)
  • Spoiler, LPO (5V5) (Luxury and Premium Luxury only)
  • Black spoiler, LPO (5ZV) (Sport only)

Pricing for the Onyx Package for the 2024 Cadillac CT4 has not been revealed as of this writing.

The 2024 Cadillac CT4 was initially expected to introduce a mid-cycle refresh to the luxury sedan range. However, Cadillac Society recently learned that the refresh won’t drop for the 2024 CT4. That’s not to say that the CT4 won’t get a refresh at all. In fact, we’ve already spotted a few prototypes undergoing testing, one with an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Portable Emissions Measuring System (PEMS), signaling that upgrades to the powertrain could be on the way.

Currently, the Cadillac CT4 features the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) as standard, rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It’s standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. Models with this engine get the 350T designation on the decklid as part of Cadillac’s torque-based nomenclature. The turbocharged 2.7L I4 engine (production code L3B) is optional on the CT4 Premium Luxury, where it makes 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. These models wear the 500T badge
