Cadillac’s parent company, General Motors, has issued a customer satisfaction campaign for certain units of the 2023 Cadillac CT4 to address an issue with the side blind zone assist mirrors.
The problem: certain units of the 2023 Cadillac CT4 were built with the incorrect side blind zone assist mirror.
The hazards: an incorrect side blind zone assist mirror could reduce visibility of objects behind the vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: a Cadillac dealer will replace both outside rearview mirrors. This procedure will be performed at no cost to vehicle owners.
Affected components: outside rearview mirrors, outside rearview mirror housings.
Affected vehicles: 2023 Cadillac CT4.
Number of affected vehicles: Cadillac did not indicate how many units of the CT4 luxury sedan may be affected by this condition.
Next steps: Cadillac will contact owners of affected units of the Cadillac CT4 with instructions to make an appointment with their preferred dealer. To find out whether a particular CT4 may have this condition, owners can visit my.cadillac.com/recalls and input their vehicle’s VIN. Additionally, owners may reach out to Cadillac directly using the information included below to address any questions or concerns.
It’s important to note that since this is a customer satisfaction campaign, not a recall, it will expire at the end of the vehicle’s limited warranty period.

Voice of reason.
Just as I suspected. The quality of cars/trucks has suffered in the last couple of years. I have no confidence of the realibity of vehicles being produced today.
