The refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 made its debut in February 2023, showing off its fresh face and redesigned interior. Now, Cadillac Society has spotted a 2024 XT4 in the flesh for the first time, giving us our first good look at the refreshed luxury crossover in real life.
This particular 2024 Cadillac XT4, which is painted in Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT), appears to be a China-spec model, as evidenced by the extra badge affixed to the lower end of the passenger side liftgate, although it’s covered by a strip of tape.
Interestingly, despite the Chinese badge, this particular XT4 is in line with a U.S.-spec XT4 Luxury model, representing the entry level trim for the vehicle. This trim level can be identified by its tucked under exhaust outlets, whereas the Premium Luxury and Sport trims feature through-fascia dual exhaust outlets with bright tips.
Up front, the revised front fascia is clearly visible, complete with an updated grille design and redesigned LED headlights and vertical lighting cues that line up with Cadillac’s new design language. We can also see that the Cadillac crest is covered up on both the front fascia and fender.
The side profile of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 remains unchanged from its pre-refresh predecessor. However, it does sport a set of new 18-inch Tri Five-Spoke alloy wheels finished in Bright Silver (production code PXG). These wheels are standard on the XT4 Luxury.
While not visible in these photos, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 features an overhauled interior, including a new 33-inch LED touchscreen spanning the instrument cluster and center stack, much like what we see in the Cadillac Lyriq. Other new tech includes an available 13-speaker AKG audio system, 5G connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot capability, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. However, the 2024 XT4 will not offer the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assistant, at least at first.
The 2024 Cadillac XT4 retains the current model’s single engine option: the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY). The boosted gasoline four-cylinder is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and is mated to the nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard while all-wheel-drive is optional.
The start of regular production (SORP) of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 will take place in April 2023 at the Fairfax plant in Kansas.

Looks like the discontinued the Dual-Exhausts, big mistake, and the Tailgate looks at first glance to be too busy, with angles and cuts, protruding too much.
