These 2023 Cadillac XT5 Wheels Are Currently Under Constraint

The 2023 Cadillac XT5 has been subject to constraints stemming from ongoing supplier issues already, seeing reduced availability of its front and rear park assist features. Now, Cadillac Society has learned that several wheel options for the luxury crossover are currently experiencing constraints as well.

20-inch Chrome wheels (production code S1T)

20-inch Gloss Black wheels (production code S2K)

The following two dealer-installed (LPO) wheels are currently constrained on the 2023 Cadillac XT5 (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • 20-inch Chrome wheels (S1T)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (S2K)

Incidentally, both wheels have the same spoke patterns, but have different finishes.

Meanwhile, the 20-inch Gloss Black wheels are unavailable on Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, but are still available on Sport. These wheels cost $2,495 as a standalone option, and are also included in the Onyx Package, which costs $4,295 for Luxury and Sport and $4,795 on Premium Luxury. However, the Onyx Package is currently unavailable across all trims.

The 20-inch Chrome wheels are currently unavailable for the 2023 Cadillac XT5 Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, but they are still offered on Sport. As a standalone option, these wheels add $3,095 to the overall cost of the luxury crossover. However, they are also included as part of the $4,195 Radiant Package (production code PDV), which is offered on Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, although this package is currently unavailable to order.

As a reminder, the Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels of the 2023 Cadillac XT5 continue to be powered by the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) as standard, which is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. These models are identifiable by the 350T badge on the liftgate.

Meanwhile, the naturally-aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, will be optional on the Premium Luxury trim and standard on the Sport trim. These models can be identified by the 400 badge on the liftgate.

It’s worth noting that the the XT5 was initially expected to receive a substantial update for 2023, but industrywide delays and supplier constraints postponed these plans. The luxury crossover will now continue without any major changes for the 2024 and 2025 model years before being discontinued completely in the North American market. However, Cadillac will overhaul the model for the Chinese market.
