The 2023 model year represents the third for the performance-oriented Cadillac CT5-V luxury sedan, and Cadillac Society has learned that it has lost three exterior paint colors previously available for the 2022 model year.
The following three colors, which were considered premium options that cost extra to equip, are no longer available for the Cadillac CT5-V for the 2023 model year (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
Shadow Metallic cost an extra $625 to equip on the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V, opting for Satin Steel Metallic added an extra $625 to the sedan’s price, while Infrared Tintcoat was the most expensive exterior paint option at $1,225.
Meanwhile, the 2023 model year will bring the following three colors to the Cadillac CT5-V (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
It should be noted that all of the aforementioned exterior colors are exclusive to the Cadillac CT5-V and not the range-topping Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing super sedan.
As a reminder, the Cadillac CT5-V gets its pep from the luxury marque’s turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY), which is tuned to deliver a healthy 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, which bolts to the 10-speed automatic transmission. Power is routed to either the rear two wheels (RWD) or all four wheels (AWD). Production of the performance-oriented CT5-V takes place alongside the regular CT5 range along with the CT5-V Blackwing at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
