Cadillac Mexico sales registered another notable decrease in August as a result of lower availability of its best-selling model in the Mexican market. As such, this new drop becomes the third consecutive contraction that Cadillac has suffered in Mexico, the only country in Latin America where the luxury marque is officially marketed.
As during the two prior months, the negative result seen in August is led by a double-digit drop in the best-selling Cadillac Escalade. The full-size luxury SUV has fewer units available in Mexico, while remaining comfortably the most popular model in the country. For its part, the Cadillac XT5 saw a slight decrease, maintaining a low sales volume – a circumstance that has become customary in Mexico.
In contrast, the Cadillac XT4 was the only one among the three utility vehicles that Cadillac offers in Mexico that managed to be in the green during August. The crossover, which a couple of years ago was the marque’s best-selling model, doubled its registration. count during August. Even so, the performance last month was not enough to bring it out of the red for the year-to-date results.
One of four new colors for the 2025 model year.
And it now represents the best value in its segment.
A curious sighting from a video of the Cadillac design studio.
